Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use PrintLedger, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: your email address and password when you create an account.
  • Print farm data: printer names, job details, filament usage, costs, sale prices, and other data you enter into the platform.
  • Third-party integrations: when you connect services like Etsy, we receive order data (sale prices, fees, shipping costs) through their APIs.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the product.
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address collected automatically through server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the PrintLedger service.
  • Calculate profit, cost, and other financial metrics for your print jobs.
  • Sync data from connected third-party services on your behalf.
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts).
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and row-level security policies. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: hosting (Vercel, Supabase), payment processing, and email delivery services that operate on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

5. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party accounts (such as Etsy), we access only the data necessary to sync your orders and calculate financials. We store relevant order data (sale prices, fees, shipping) in your PrintLedger account. You can disconnect integrations at any time, which stops future data syncing but does not delete previously imported data.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes).

9. Children

PrintLedger is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the application. Continued use of PrintLedger after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
